First time hatchers hatch A-long!

I really don't know anything about scrambled air cells.
As far as candling goes you just need a small bright light.. something like that little pen light I'm using in that video works great for me. I actually bought a candler but I don't like it, the light it is too yellow. I like a clear bright light.
For picture taking you want to try and eliminate any light escaping around the flashlight, you want it shining directly into the egg.
Thanks for the tips! I appreciate it! Who do I determine if the air cells are ruptured or badly saddled? Thank you!

Thank youuu im so stressed lol just hoping for the best :fl
What has your humidity and temp been at the whole incubation? Did you check with an addiotnal calibrated thermometer to see if it was accurate? Have you candled the eggs to look for life? If you candle and post candling pics, we can probably give you an idea on wether or not they're alive.

Actually it gets kind of frustrating for people trying to help when there are multiple threads about the same thing by the same person.
See, I know this to. I tell people the same thing haha! I started a thread originally before I put eggs in the bator to gather info, and then started this thread after I put eggs in. I'm shut to excited about incubating lol! To many threads! Hahah!

Er well the temperature has been pretty consistent all throughout..at 37.5 c and humidity has also been kinda consistent too...i didnt use additional thermometer and i kinda regret that now... I did buy them but they still hvnt arrived..however before lockdown,i DID candle them and one seemed very much alive and developing perfectly...

if you don't see any clear pocket of air at the end of the egg at all that I would say it's ruptured.
If there is a pocket of air but it's wonky and saddle-shaped then it's saddled.
Okay, I am not seeing anything that bright. It only shines if I position the light correctly. Is there anything I can do for them? Or do I just see who it goes?

It may not look as bright as mine because my eggs are more white than yours. But yes you need to move your light around to see what you're looking at. Even an egg that isn't developing should have an air cell. Here's one out of the fridge.
If it's just a saddled air cell they may be fine. Other than having them sitting air cell end up I don't know what else you can do for it. I have no idea what you would do for a ruptured air cell.
