First time incubating - so excited!!

Oh then definitely don't worry yet! They just like to try our patience!

Thanks! I keep chirping to him because he seems to get active when I do ... is it too early to be in love? :-)
 
I've been trying to get a picture!  It seems he is shy and ran and hid in the corner where there is no window for me to see him!  I hope #2 gives #1 a little nudge :-)


Aww, maybe he'll less shy when his friends join him. When one duckling hatched it should encourage the others, but it's still possible that it takes another day.

:jumpy Yes it is very hard to be patient at this point
 
Here are my 3 that hatched last week.  All gone to their new mommas though.


CUTENESS OVERLOAD :th The one with the orange feet looks like a little rascal and the one with the black stripes on the face seems a bit shy. And the last one is the big brother :love
 
They have to go into the brooder within 24 hours of hatching, right?
