I used valbazen, and it worked great! Only problem was I was only able to purchase it in a 500ml container, which ranked up to about 50$. I only have 16 hens, so a bit excess, but it was recommended to me and the only working medicine my local farm and feed has.

Unfortunately, I can’t get Valbazen in California . I just don’t want to kill my babies.

I’ve been searching other posts about Safeguard and I’m seeing a lot of ‘you can’t really overdose with Safeguard’ so I feel a little better. But I have also read mass killing the worms can cause problems, too (when it comes time to purge them from the system). That’s why I’m thinking maybe give them a half dose on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, then maybe in the fall give them the full dose on that schedule. I also found a post tagging a few experts on here so I might try messaging one of them.
