I'm on day 5. I didn't want to wait another 2 or so days in case I was working with unfertilized eggs (a friend that I got them from wasn't sure if his roosters were interested in the hens, because they had some broodies that laid on duds most of the spring).

I'm on day 4 right behind you! I'm going to try and hold out until day 7-10, but if you can see veins already I'm getting anxious to do it sooner

They are just barely visible, hubby had to point them out to me right before I tossed out the whole bunch. Luckily, he found one with more noticeable veining.

I will join... just set 6 Barred Rock eggs this afternoon. This is my first try as well. Both thermometers holding at 99.5. Hope they are fertile. Good luck everyone.
