Started a big reset over the last couple of weeks .... traded my big rainbows and congos for some plants, picked up two more schools of smaller fish (10 each porkchop rasboras and green neon tetras, joining my og school of 10 rummy nose). Biggest change is I've added pressurized co2 to the mix, hoping to really get my plants going to provide a lush look and good cover for some smaller, more colorful shrimp (have a nice group of amano in there now). Had originally thought I was going to do a few angels as centerpiece fish, but having gotten a bit hooked on shrimp I am now leaning towards expanding the schools of little guys instead to avoid serving very expensive live food to the angels.
Here is the newly scaled tank....cant wait to see what it looks like in a few weeks as things fill in (cant see them too well yet, but there are some great red toned plants that need to grow and balance out all the green)
