Fish Thread

I just set up a 20gal. Makes 8 total but their all little. LOL Talk w/ a woman that owns a pet store and she seems interested in guppies. I have no shortage of them. My last tank I did red shrimp. and a good supply of cleaners. nerite snails, snowball pleco and red nosed pleco the snails themselves and a couple cory cats. Only 6 "fish". 3 rasbora hexs and 3 white cloud minnows in a 40 tall. Live plants and driftwood to round every thing out and a huge coating of hair algae I cant seem to beat.

One of my fish apparently flopped out of the pond the other day. My dad found it on the deck with its gills pumping and said it didn’t look too good and was just sitting at the bottom when he put it back but I checked later and they were all swimming fine and now they’re all super active so I guess it’s okay lol we had a ton of rain and I had just refilled it like a day or two before the rain too so idk if it jumped out or what??? No injuries so I don’t think it was caught.

maybe they’re making a great escape!!! Ungrateful little brats!

And thanks! Me too!! I don’t think it was out for long but idk. I think he found it in the morning. Much longer and it probably would have died.

thats ok, Now I can be ignored on 2 threads ! Went to a thrift store today and bought a set of deer antlers. I am boiling them now and intend to stick them in one of these tanks. My angels had babies. Im feeding them there are 9. The rest went bad. First time parents so Im surprised theres any.

We have a pond koi pond with koi, goldfish, gouramies, placos, and thousands of platies. We also have a 29 gallon tank with some tetras, cory catfish, a placo, and some sort of catfish. I don't know a whole lot about fish, I just take care of the dogs and gecko but my brother know all about them. We recently updated the tank too
