Btw this is where I got them from and these are the ones I got. Probably a bit of overkill but I can always set up more tanks if necessary. :D ;)

Probably should have just gotten a bigger package since it’s basically the same plants and would have been cheaper but oh well haha

I think one of the plants is illegal here so they swap it out but otherwise it’s great :)

I ordered from them a long time ago too and the tank was like a jungle :lau

I’m actually excited about this now. I opened/tested/looked the other stuff too and it’s way easier than I thought and this will be fun haha idk why I never finished decorating it before. :lau

The only thing is the wood is all different shapes and colors and so are my rocks so nothing will match which is a tad stressful for me but it’s alright. :lau

I’m sure the plants will hide it some. And it’s more natural this way. :D

Lol relatively. Not unusual for them to tap out at a year. They've lasted a lot longer for me once I ditched the heaters. Gestation is longer, growth is slower. At the very least it give a little more time to figure out what to do all those fry lol.

Huh, interesting! Maybe I’ll have to put some guppies in my spare 10 :D if they can fit in there? I’ve heard it might be too small for them since they swim a lot? I do have a 20 too.

Just saw this tank and I was like  :th :love

I hope mine looks like this one day LOL

Also I’ve been reading more on lava rocks and apparently they’re not a good idea for bettas (which I suspected/had read but had also read some reviews before saying theirs were okay) so I’m thinking I probably won’t put them in and maybe just stick with the wood? Don’t want them to cut/tear their fins all up. :(

But now I have all these lava rocks and no clue what to do with them :lau

Maybe they’d be okay covered with plants or moss? But then you can’t see them.

Would they be okay in another tank? :barnie I just don’t know!!

I could probably put them in with the bettas and see I guess but they do have quite sensitive and long fins so :barnie
