I'm always surprised to see how many people don't have basements. Everyone has one in Wisconsin unless you live in a mobile home, so I thought everyone had one.

I’m always surprised by it too! But I guess some areas the water table is higher maybe or like down south with the hurricanes a lot of people don’t have them? But mostly everyone has them here too haha

Why would you put them where you cant see them? No room? I have 3 in this room where the tv is. Shoot, I even got one in y bathroom. LOL

This, this is my main method of population control. By not heating any of my tanks I slow growth, reproductions, and it also slows the aging process. I have guppies that are easily 3 years old.

Room temp, varies from 64-74 F usually. Sometimes cooler in the winter if I forget to turn the heat on or hotter in the summer.

Well, i just have one fish, but i love him! He is a veiltail betta. No name yet, any ideas? He is navy blue with a little bit of red.

Boiling and soaking the mopani wood tonight. Still haven’t done that yet.

Btw here’s a bunch of pics of it. You can see how different it all looks two of them I think are really cool but the one is so ugly/flat/useless it can go in the guppy tank when I set it up the one is flat/smooth on one side like it’s supposed to stand up but it’s too tall for that in this tank and not exactly natural haha but if I put it up again one side it should be fine haha

He sounds really pretty!!

Not sure on a name.... maybe duo or duality or something along those lines since he’s got two colors? But he sounds awesome
