Could be a 9 week old betta. It's common for breeders to power-grow bettas, especially if they show/sell large quantities or come from lines that grow quickly.

Yes! Thanks it was all black for me in the other post. He does look pretty old but idk about fish growth hah

Yeah, I don’t either. I’m just going by Calico who is possibly around 13 weeks ( older than this betta ) and who’s absolutely tiny
