Small update on what's been going on. Blue is in his very very last. There is actually another fish that matches everything I want perfectly, but they never get these in stock, so I never bothered mentioning it. Rosy Loaches

Sorry about Blue. I do love Bettas but in my experience they usually die within a year.

Thank you so much . Blue has been with me for about 2 years and a couple of months. When we got him he was full grown, so I took an educated guess, placing him at one year old. So that would make him almost three and a half. He's an old fellow, but it's sad to see him go

Albino (longfin) bristlenose pleco are my too 1 or 2 fish to breed. Not my fav fish, just one I really want to breed someday

Yet another update: I'm expecting Blue to pass within the next 24 hours, and it's honestly taking longer than I expected. As for the new stocking, it's still between a pair of sparkling gourami, some male guppies or endlers, or some golden white clouds

The Aquaball started making grinding noises so I tried unplugging then plugging it back in, no change. I pulled it out of the tank and will disassemble it next weekend to see if I can fix the issue. Until then the 29g is running on two large sponge filters. It should be fine.
