So far, everything is going well. I usually give new fish a two week quarantine before moving them to the main aquarium. That would be next weekend.

Floating plants get the best of both worlds. They're crazy close to the light, direct access to oxygen. Their roots suck up everything there is to "eat" in the water column. Stem plants are limited to their substrate

Floating plants work great! Our plants wouldnt ever stay in the ssnd or gravel.

Release Day!

All twenty of the Ember tetras made it through cross-country shipping, and a two week quarantine in a 5.5g aquarium.

They're active, and both my two Glowlight tetras and my lone Zebra danio are much more active. No aggression so far, I think all's good.

There was two beautiful koi Betta at the petshop today! My bad photos do no justice.

There was also plenty of beautiful Guppies. I liked the black one and the yellow and orange ones. They moved too fast for good photos...

Should really finish setting up my tank!

This is a family member's recently redone tank. I'm not entirely sure what or how many is in there. It's nice it have a big tank to look at again though!
