these are for bettas btw.

They would be big enough for bettas as long as they arent in there as they get bigger.
I also used it as holding tanks for a sick fish. Just didnt have the same water going in and out

Ive seen people do shrimp breeding set ups in those, just you have to degrees the tote if i remember right.

20 gallon tank stocking ideas?

Instead of a 10 im going to get a 20 gal.

I do want some shrimp at the bottom. Im still thinking about 2 bettas otherwise i know there are gouramis and many schooling fish. Im going to the store that im going to get the fish from so ill see what he has.

Ooh, if I had 20 gallons to play with I'd consider some barbs (not a good idea if you have bettas or other long finned fish in the tank, probably not great for shrimp either), zebrafish, dwarf rainbow fish, rummy nose tetras, corydoras, khuli loaches, or otocinclus cats.

Lamprologus ocellatus gold. You won't be able to have anything else in there, BUT they are amazing!

We had some peacock chiclids in our 75 gallon and they were for sure my favorite
