I went upstairs to get changed for work today and found water all over my bedroom floor and dripping from the dresser 😱 Somehow my tank sprung a leak! Still not quite sure where, we suspect a silicone seal has broken as we can't find any cracks. Poor shinta is currently chilling in a pitcher with a single plant, the tank heater, and the filter until I can get the tank figured out.

I hope you can fix it! And I hope the damage isn't permanent

Im looking into making a pond for my goldfish since they are outgrowing their tank, i'm doing some research on fishlore but I will keep you guys updated
Check out wetwebmedia.com for more information than you can digest!

I have two 100 gallon preform ponds, but gave up on goldfish as bullfrogs showed up and ate them all. I got minnows from a local pond and they can breed faster than the frogs can eat them. And they keep the mosquitoes population under control.

Let's hear it for old fashioned fluorescent lights!

Two of my three aquariums have LED lights but the third still has an old hood with a fluorescent fixture. I also have a fluorescent light over my kitchen sink. When the bulb recently burned out I installed a new one... but the light still didn't work. I was wondering if it could be a bad ballast (starter) so I checked my aquarium odds and ends box, and located a brand new ballast. When I installed it on my kitchen fixture the light came on!

If I didn't still have a fluorescent light on my aquarium I wouldn't have had a ballast on hand, and I would have had to go searching for one in town.
