Fish Zole dosage for Black head

I think my one Tom has black head as he has been feeling down for the last 2 days and has bright yellow and green poo as well as a dark face hue. I got in the Fish -zole today 250mg and gave him 2 pills. I just wanted to make sure I gave the correct dose.....and to do that for 5 days? He is about 8 months old. He is still roosting at night and seems a little peppier.....but still not eating well, just picking.

Just an FYI on dosage:

Metronidazole is one of the most commonly used drugs for anaerobic infections. It is effective for giardiasis; other drugs used for Giardia infection include albendazole, fenbendazole, and quinacrine. Maximum dose that should be administered is 50-65 mg/kg,q24h, in any species.
