Quick question for you all: I got one of the pullets (that are laying) laying very oblong oval eggs, what does that mean? Shells are hard, no other egg problems, just one of the two eggs I get that are always oblong and oval. Usually, I might get one every so often, but never day after day.

Is she a newer layer? My Brahma mix lays them, too. I don’t think it’s an issue.

I haven't come across this yet but like Kayla asked is she a new layer? Sometimes they lay strange eggs randomly the first few weeks.

Coco's Laying Pattern:
3 days laying in a row. 1 day break. I read that a RIR lays 5 eggs a week. At the moment Coco is laying 6 out of 7 days. Shes a good darling too.

Hazels still a trooper and lays on the daily.

Looks like $75 to the coop savings this fortnight. Was hoping for more but have to get my legs waxed too
