I cooked Moroccan Chicken tonight and Jordan got home and added a Trinidad Scorpion Chilli. I tried it and it was pretty hot but the taste was really really good. Better then the plan Moroccan chicken I made for dinner.

It did I was like the the hell was that! Then turned around to see him slapped on the window lol.

It started to rain before. Got 0.9mm of rain and looks like more coming just fingers crossed it gets us.

I've decided to do my very first throw back Thursday, to when I incubated my current standard flock.

The chicks hatch date was September 22.

These babies are a few weeks away from being six months old. So big!

Krystal here's what theyve upgraded to "ovation" line vs octagons. Too bad, i think they really had something for hand turning w the octagon but theres a smaller version and this isnt quite as expensive as mine was when it was brand new. When i say im hand turning i didn't turn but 3 times a day this time when i got up, at lunch and bedtime. Could be done around a work schedule. Still auto turners can be nice and this new line probly has improved turners.

There was a bit of a fad here on BYC several years ago about turning. Many were convinced that you needed to turn 6 plus times a day. There is no scientific evidence of this though. Turning needs to be adequate only and two or three times a day is pretty much the same as turning more times.

Now the current fad with no evidence of helping and often hurts is the safety hole. I will try not to get into that one too much on the Easter Hatch a long....

When it comes to bators I'm a bit crazy. I have the ova-easy 380 with humidity pump. Had to go with cabinet as house temps vary widely in the spring and summer.

You can hatch a lot of poultry in that one!

How many emus will it hold?
