Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Oh, and is it okay to feed her their medicated chick feed?
Maybe I’ll start a thread on raising chicks?
Medicated starter is fine for her to eat.

If they just hatched, it can take a day or two for them to snap from broody to mom. She seems to be getting there.

The hatched chicks switch her hormones so that takes a bit of time

It works the same. The chicks will make her hormones switch and she will stop being broody and will take care of the chicks.
So should I take her down and put her on the ground and hope she eats and drinks or should I just leave her be? But that would mean no food and water today

Okay, so what if she doesn’t get down? She doesn’t look like she has any intention of moving! Is it okay if she goes all day without food and water? This could be the second whole day of this as I did not see her get anything yesterday either...
