Morning!

so my husband made me choose, i can hatch more chicks but i must sell all the young ones first. Last month it was i had to find a home or pen for the boys or cull them. My husband grew up in the city with no pets nada... when he gives these "ultimatums" he doesn't care if it makes sense or not. Last month i was lucky and was able to get a pen... this time not so lucky. I mentioned i had to get a new home for them quickly on a mewe group and a guy that i thought was ok started calling me the mattress guy that's going outta business for last 15 yrs. I was already devastated from loosing 22 developing babies due to taking care of my husband and then the ultimatum and then that guy.... it was enough. I'm not sure why people kick others when they're down

i did find a possible home for the young ones, but...... it's just been a crumby week only bright side is these cute chicks

I'm uncertain that I can find words... I agree with Ron as hard as that sounds, but...

they're getting big already! I put new paper towel down two hours ago came back to this! Messy messy! The one with the spot is going to be Penny if girl, Panini if boy. I'm thinking Swirl or Flour for the other one

I’m not planning on breeding chickens and ducks anymore.
They take way too long to sell and no one wants the roosters and drakes.
I’m looking forward to having a nice backyard flock of Brahmas again.
just have to wait and see what roosters are left in the last two batches of Brahma chicks that I hatched in August
