The shops are a mad house! People getting supplies. I keep getting different updates from different sites. One says tomorrow, one says tonight, one says over the weekend.

Yep. So long as we don't lose power 'cause living here our freezer is kept stocked & we did an update a fortnight ago.

Im going to have a shower now encase we lose power. I won't be able to shower without setting the camp shower up. My chickens are freaking out with the wind sounds.

Poor chookies. Mine tucked themselves up early. Heading out now to close the door, which I haven't been doing because of the heat but if I have to paddle around in the dark tonight...

We have a power hub and camp fridge that we can change to freezer so we just put the freezer stuff in that. We have solar panels to to change the power hub. We need to invest in a generation soon too.

Its been strange. If I get up in the middle of the night the moon is soooo bright it looks like its light outside.

We have travel warnings out. The car barge will stop running tomorrow, The passenger ferry won't be doing any night runs. Glad we don't have to go anywhere.
