I don’t know if it would be wise to let my hens hatch chicks for another month or two, I’m thinking about breaking the broody RIR and throwing away those eggs. Don’t want to hatch out sick chicks.

Awesome! Looks like it has a healthy shell, too.

Aaawww! So happy for your new babyFirst off, @WhoDatChick and @HuffleClaw , I love your new chicks! They are super cute. I especially love the cochins because cochins are probably my favorite breed of chicken(the bantams not the full-size).
@Brahmachicken240 I'm glad your chickens are starting to get better and that your hen finally laid her egg.
Now, as for personal updates(though this doesn't involve poultry), yesterday, one of my two-year old border leicesters gave birth to a big ewe lamb! This is her first time, and she has wonderful motherly instincts. She was licking the lamb and making sure she was drinking and healthy. It is so cute and HUGE, especially since the mother has always been kind of small. I'm so excited! She is such a cute lamb and will watch you with her ears all perked up.
Here is a picture soon after she was born(the quality is very poor, but hopefully I can get some better pictures later).
