Egg pics!!!

Only photographed half of them but they are all moving and grooving!!!


Some photos of this morning... sorry gor mess, I cannot seem to keep projects from laying all over!

The Golden Comet is Toasted fav to practice "mounting" i think i need to separate since she's not mature yet... probably another month for her?

Baby bump is getting massive! Im over 24 weeks now and cant see my feet!
Everything looks good so far no diabetes or anything like that so far.
She is kicking like Crazy! Jordan hasnt felt her yet but my Aunty felt her last night

Its a very funny feeling. I was eating Hot Buttered Chicken the other night. She either liked it or hated it. She was moving around like a mad women!

The inevitable has happened, a tropical storm is heading towards Florida. At this point, it is supposed to be a category two hurricane when it reaches me. The number of pets we have is always a challenge, five dogs(plus both of my grandparent's dogs), two cats(and my grandma's cat), an aquarium with two fish, three reptiles that need a few different light/heating and of course the chickens and ducks. At the moment it's most likely to hit right around where I live late Sunday or early Monday.

Now to some lighter news, my standard girls, who I hatched myself, are turning a year next month! It's so rewarding to see my happy and healthy flock.

As I was adding pictures the hurricane will now be a cat three when it hits Florida.

Krystal I'm so happy to hear from you. It's so exciting when they start kicking and moving about.

We got two eggs today!!! One has maybe a pinkish tint to it. Both are kinda longish. So either Cajun and Soy laid or Soy and another barred rock laid


Candled all 10 eggs from the bottom... some are fuller then others. So excited for lockdown on Saturday afternoon!!!


Snoopy is doing great! We make sure that we just watch and round up chickens and if he tries to play or get rough i tell him "enough" or "leave it" sharply and make a loud snap sound. As you can see... he's taking his job seriously

And the babies in outside brooder are growing up fast! Before long they'll be free ranging too. I was cleaning under them when i too pic so they were not happy.

You won't be able to see into the eggs too much longer.
