Hello all,
I have a little pekin (not crested) that was hatched thursday morning. She had what appeared to be a splayed leg. She was given to me. I started treatment as soon as I got home maker her around 16 hours old give or take. I did the hair tie method for 48 hours (saturday). I also, began vitamin/sugar/niacin enriched water. she would not eat just drink. She began eating on saturday as well. Today she is still eating and drinking. She looks better, more chirpy and more active. However, she just rolls onto her back. I cannot get her to try to walk. I do not know what is going on. I move her to her food or water on her belly and she eats or drinks for a moment then flops back over. she attempts to turn over but cant. There apears to be no physical injury, but she hyperextends the legs.

Here are some pictures I do. I do not have any where she is flopped on her back without the hair tie. I will ask my husband when he gets home and add them. I am two away from home at a conference. Which has me so upset, as I cannot be there right now.

ADD: Note in the water she is upright, she has a tendency to flop over, but correct herself if she feels she is going over. The first water exercise, she didnt fair well. Now she has improved on that.
