Fly Control??

Nothing in the paperwork said not or in the coop. The bag is high enough that they can not peck or touch it! Should I be concerned of what, please?

If they utilize a fly attractant, you are actually attracting more flies to your coop. They work the same as japanese beetle traps...the beetles come from miles around to get to the trap! So, if you want the flies away from the coop, move the fly bag away from the coop

Keep whatever the flies are after/eating (poop, leftovers, etc.) in check, and you'll keep the flies in check, too. No scents, repellents, or traps required.

CONCLUSION;

The fly issue was me not picking up as much. The Fly Catcher by Rescue in my opinion like many said was: "IT IS AN ATTRACTANT!!!" THAT IS WHAT IT IS! Picking up all poop and removing the 5 gal bucket with trash, melon rinds and other biodegradable stuff was a significant help. As a result of this thread I just ordered 2000 Red Wigglers to eat all the homes + chickens bio waste and cooking scraps and meal left over. No meats of any kind just garden foods of course.
