Food and water in run

I let my chicks out of the coop and into the run for there first full day...well I am wondering if I need to move there food and water out or if they are smart enough to go into the coop to drink and eat?

I just put mine out last Friday. Don't know about where you live but if I put food in the run, the bugs (ants mostly) will eat it all.
Bad problem here.

I leave their feed inside but definitely have them a water source outside in run.

We have more slugs then any other bugs that will get into there food (I live in Washington state) I just went out and checked on them again and they where inside the coop eating and drinking so YAY
