Food getting kicked out

I make my own feeders by cutting a glad Tupperware container on the side only big enough for them to eat. I do occasionally find some who have managed to squeeze in and sleep though or Ive used the silver metal ones and put a block next to it like a step up.

Would you mind sharing a picture of how you cut the containers. I’m looking for ideas to reduce waste too.
