you are advising her to lie in order to get benefits? Not cool.

When my boyfriend applied he didn't have to claim me, and he specifically asked. My income would have exempted him from the benefit.

right..she would not have to claim the BF because they are not married.

They are not married, he pays his own stuf so tech...it's not lying~ If his parents paid for her stuff, they would have to! Include their income...it's all in the wording. She is gonna have to get a statement anyway stating he pays for half, That's all on the paper work, It's when u use wording like boyfriends they assume you eat together, etc...Just wording!!!He pays fpr his own stuff. IF you prepare meals together, yes his income is counted for food stamps~

Mika maybe you could try danceing. They say the money is great. And you'd have more time for the DBF and your birds. Hey you have paid in, never feel bad about getting some of it back.

Many jobs require a degree, but are not particular about the field it is in. I am sure you would like to work in your own field, but it sounds like you need to broaden your horizon, at least for now. Have you worked with an employment firm? Can you write? What skills do you have that are widely useful? How about substitute teaching? Different states have different requirements--Texas only requires a 2-year degree; I don't know about Arkansas or Oklahoma. What if any leadership roles have you filled--in a club or organization or even in your classes?

Ok, so "technically" she is living in a two-person income home, regardless of being married or not right? Then I have to change my yes to a no. This is part of the US's problem with having people who are not married, living together, one getting aide and one working.
