Found a New Rooster

As some of you may have read in my intro and in the what breed or gender section. We recently lost our EE roo. We had raised him from a chick and loved him very much. The hens haven't been the same since and have started to dig up the yard. So I started looking and came across an ad for a free roo looking for a home to avoid slaughter. I spoke with the woman she cared very much for him and wanted him to go to a home where he could live out his days rather than going to slaughter with the rest of their meat birds. His name is Sonny and I will be picking him up within the week.

I attached the pics the woman sent. He will be king of the coop with our 18 hens. We can never replace Mr. Roo but I think it will be nice having a rooster around again.
