Found Beautiful Chicken in Backyard. Need someone to come get and take

I am not far but could not take another Rooster in at this point. I have 11 and some of those are about to go to freezer camp. If you can get a pic maybe post the fella on craigslist or post on here too. I only know one other person looking for chickens but if its a roo it would go straight in his freezer at this point.

To answer your question, yes, chickens can (and do) find their way home.... BUT if they were not feeding correctly or something else (you said their neighbor told you that animal control has been controlled multiple times), he probably wouldn't want to go home....
