The duck is going to wild life rehabber. If we hadn’t recommended this OP get in touch with wild life rehabber she would not have known to do it. Duck saved to live in the wild again

It might not be wild, hatcheries do actually sell Wood Ducks, so there is a chance that this is someone's pet.

I would have known actually. I just honestly didn't know it could be wild. This is not my first rodeo. It's just the first with a duck. The way he acted was like a scared domestic so I didn't really know. I moved here a little while ago and didn't know of rehab options here yet. Thank you all for your help. He is definitely going to the most fortunate outcome for him in any case.
