Fowlpox? What should i do?

I've seen rough bumps like your rooster has on his face and comb. When my rooster had them, I used Blue-kote on them, and it either worked to clear them up or it was just coincidental that they decided to clear up. Use a Q-tip to dab it sparingly around the eyes, careful not to get any in the eyes.

The yellow crusty lesions look like a skin infection on that adorable chick. I would soak those areas in warm Epsom salt water to soften and hopefully loosen and float away the worst of the crust. Then I'd keep it moist with antibiotic ointment (without pain killer). If those are skin mites and not an infection, the ointment will work also.

Alright, thank you so much. One last thing, i checked all my chicken's legs and faces after hearing all the nasty things from this post, just making sure they are all ok. I feel like some of my chicken's faces are a bit puffed up, but i don't know if they really are or if it's just me being on edge about this. My broody hen's face isn't an exception, and she has very small bugs under her eye. I assumed it was mites since she's broody and there are bugs on her face so i applied some vaseline/antibiotic ointment. The only thing is, i could see the bugs and i have been told earlier that they are microscopic and cannot be seen with the naked eye.. so are they in fact face mites?

Are you seeing the bugs move on her face?

Do you have permethrin products available?

Any thing you can see with the naked eye are not scaly mites. No one can see them without a microscope to count their hideous little legs. (Cringe)

Lice like to hang out on a chicken conveniently near a moist area like eyes and vent. Mites feed on blood so they can be anywhere on a chicken. (Yuk)
