Fox wipeout - only one hen left!

Thank you everyone! I'm going to go into the woods and search I think, it's maybe a log shot because the forest is huge, but if they're still alive they can't have gone too far! Today I'm going to get some new chickens, I feel this could be a potential problem. Is there any way to make their introduction as easy as possible?!

I had no luck in finding them sadly, I might try again shortly with a bucket of corn to shake! Why didn't I think of that?! Thanks!

I think you would attract any survivors if you try calling with corn, at that point if you dont see anybody, at least you can feel you have done your best. Wishing you the best with your new birds!!

Do you maybe have a camera of some sort? If so you can probably put it up and see if the Fox comes back. I've also heard you can put a baby monitor in the coop to hear if they are in trouble. Just in case u should have a b-b gun ready in case the Fox does come back you can shoot it to scare it off.it won't kill it but it will scare it off and it may not come back after that. Good luck!

3 years old! I'm actually not sure of her breed, her feathers are dark grey but get lighter from head to rear if that helps at all! Oh my, I LOVE the idea of using a baby monitor, that is brilliant! Thank you!
