I believe I am about to go ahead and order the incubator so I can get this done.

If anyone else is interested let me know and I can add a few to the incubator when I get it.

Cocky, I am going to pass on straight run chicks, I can only have hens. I am going to wait for Lawrimore and Sieter to get pullets in March. I dont want any roos because of nieghbers. Thanks Steve

scgamecock, are you kin to any lewis's in Bucksport? Thats were my wife is from! She went there last year for a family reunion, and brought back a picture of a brooder full of chicks.

I ordered some pullets from Ideal today. They had to add 5 roosters, if either of you want them, you are welcome to them.

I have an Aunt that married a Lewis from Myrtle Beach.No thanks on the roosters.I have too many myself.Also I have 4 or 5 Pullets that I hatched in December that I really don't need that I will sell you if your interested.

I am going to have to many pullets, I only wanted 4 but I had to order 8. Do you know anybody in Georgetown, or Conway that would want some roosters?

I need to get rid of a few myself.I love them but they are over breeding some of my hens.You could always put an add in the paper and try to sell them.There are people who will buy roosters for butchering but you have to find them. Good Luck.

I have 3 RIR roosters that are 10 months old that I'd like to find homes for.They are not mean I just bought some straight run chicks last spring from Conway feed and garden and I ended up with 4 roosters.I'm keeping one cause he is a bobtail but he is real friendly.
