Free range feeders

I have three free range turkeys. I also have two free range dogs (that like turkey feed). Does anyone have any advice on how to make turkey feeders dog proof? The turkeys are big enough that anywhere they go my pit bull and mountain cut can go.

Surround the feeders with wire that the turkeys can stick their heads through but the dogs can not.

I like @sourland's idea. maybe a tube of 2x4 mesh around the feeder would work. Strange that your dogs like turkey feed that much. Mine will lick any type of feed up off the ground if I spill it, but they don't get into the actual feeders. Quite the problem to have since it seems like an elevated area, would not keep them out. The mesh might be annoying depending on how well you have to secure the mesh on account of the dogs and also depending on how often you have to fill the feeders.
