free ranging peafowl... no eggs? update: she has a nest and is broody!

i still have not gotten any eggs from my pair... why? both are 4 yrs. old?

I have not gotten any from my pair either and they free range also.

My male is starting to drop his train now

My hens haven't produced any eggs either. My male is still breeding and still has a full train, hoping I'll get at least one to stick in the incubator.

Are you sure you just haven't found where they are being hidden? If they are able to go anywhere, they may have laid but hidden them.

If they are free range, a predator could have gotten the eggs.

No hidden eggs from my hen,
i am outside just about all day and she is always around the house while the others are out roaming or hanging in one of their favorite spots i did finely see her squat for my male but she got up just as he was fixing to make contact.
Honestly i think my hen may be much older than i was told and may not lay at all but i don't care she is still beautiful and even old hens deserve a good home
