everything has digital now if it works . sound like a deal . the GQFs have electronic and I opened the case and just went  went on line and ordered the thermostats $90 each and need one more but the hatcher works good and I'm sure the incubators will too. we will find out on Easter weekend . just going to do a little set of a 150 not many . eggs all over the place got to do something . or make one hell of an omelet . what do you guys worlds biggest omelet east to west cost

I'm so ashamed of myself. I have a customer that was waiting for cuckoo marans in April. She only wanted girls, and wanted them started, that's why I've been trying to set Silas' eggs. I stopped by the feed store today, and they had cuckoo marans sexed chicks...
Yes, I bought chicks
The customer knows, and it's fine, she just didn't want to brood. Silas' flock is a hatchery flock anyway, so she's not losing quality, but it kills me to buy chicks I should be hatching. At least I can go back to full sets of AM eggs
I'm only setting Jack's in the next batch, and will be cracking to check fertility on Johnny's until he improves

That's called 'Good Customer Service'... don't matter how it's accomplished as long as the customer is happy in the end...

gonna set the big set on Saturday got the 150 but going to pick through and take the best looking ones by then should have 200.

Is there a doctor in the house. I think this little guy has injured his leg in the brooder some how. He's still eating and drink but drags this leg. I've seen him use it a little since I found him hurt. Help!

It had been fine before? Have you inspected it? Any swelling, compared to the other leg or another chick?

Yes had been fine. I felt the leg and didn't notice any difference between it and the other one.

Trying to rule out splay leg or slipped tendon, but those usually hatch that way and are noticeable within the first days. This guy is over a week old, right?

Let me find that leg issues link I like...
