Actually, those aren't the only breed that are sold like that... they list RIR's but they aren't true Heritage RIR's... same with most hatchery/feed store breeds...

It's like everything else... The more involved you get, the more you learn, the more you look for in your birds. Your expectations change. Same with dogs and horses. My first horse was a small half Arab pony, my last is my dream mare but I got her for a measly $700 as a yearling because I knew the potential in her breeding. We learn, and we grow or we just enjoy our pets and their eggs one is no better than the other, just different is all.

Soooo we finally had our conference call today - 5 different people in 4 different states trying to hash something out without ever saying what I really wanted to say. Had to keep my mouth shut since I can't make the company look bad,nor should I look bad to my boss. Anyways, it all worked out and the unrealistic deadline has been moved, but I feel like I have PTSD from all the stress of this week. Plus, our renter is moving out and DH wants to rent the apartment again as soon as possible. I don't want to, but we don't really need a 3rd guest room. Leaving tomorrow and I haven't packed a thing. Better get off my butt and get to work.

Sorry it was so stressful at work. And if you re-rent right away, you'll have a lot of cleaning up to do first, right? Where are you going? I missed it along the way, but I know you'll be gone for awhile, right?
