French frogs

good morning Ruby you mean this one .I can't remember if it hatched or not . well the city is a mess so I'm not going up there just a broken sewer line under the house and it can wait till tomorrow . dw is going to grocery shop before she comes back so no need to go out. snow has made it down to us snowing pretty good right now . so many can't drive in it here . if I go out I'll spend hours just getting there .one of the perks of the self employed. I'm thinking SC's first picture should be a poster if it could be sharpened up a little . but should be picture of the week at least .

Be careful out there, and congrats on your new flock of babies!
good morning Walnut not new just moved to larger pens DW asks all the time how many and I still don't know my guess is a lot . as I move them I find things . Have some good BCM pullets looking forward to finishing out . Some from Ravyn and some from mine . hope to stat moving more and sorting out for the sale tomorrow if the weather doesn't stop the sale . hate to get them ready and then the sale be canceled . I thought selling cattle was hard but easy compared to chickens though. guess I had better get to doing something or I'll stay on here all day and DW is going to give me fits if I do . If your in the snow and ice be careful

my dogs love them too....last time I tried giving them to the ducks they didn't eat them....my ducks are real picky.....must be all the treats I give them. Never saw them refuse a banana though.

Ducks don't seem to like the actual egg, but they gobble up the shells and the chickens eat the egg... enjoy your fishing...

Good morning WV :hugs  We're about  to start getting snow . It is always so crazy here already snowing hard in Nashville . we might get a dusting  or a foot . .Interstate  40 going through town is down to a crawl and we haven't got the first flake of snow . they are saying record snow fall . we'll see . once they start with traffic they only do a  little weather .  I' m    going to get  It   from Ravyn when she reads that about the chickens . plus side one them roos realy nice

You mean you didn't check under their skirts??? Them chickens is smart, got you fooled good, eh? :gig

OH just came home... boss said they was closing down at 11 and the ones who lived the furthest could leave first... he was first out the door... did Walnut's pic justice, lol...

Sale barn already has over 20+ head of hogs checked in and a bunch of feeder calves and bred calves... if they close it's gonna suck for all of them...

Sleet everywhere... hope I don't slide off the hill to the next county... :/

I have it hanging over the eggs and then I just kind of move it around and it goes all over the place. I think I'll just stick with a calibrated glass thermometer. It freaks me out every time I see an out of range number!!
My spot check, like I said, reads between 98.9 and 101.5. I took an average of all readings, came up with 99.0, so I bumped my display up to 100. My hatches have been like popcorn ever since. Don't let it worry you. You are hatching on time, so I say you are good
