French frogs

Update on our rescue attempt on the Silkie egg from last night. Mrs. Oz cleared the shell before sunrise this morning. The membranes had started drying a little but we got that part unglued.
We put him in a neonatal care unit (small plastic box ) inside the larger brooder this evening. Regular doses of 50/50 Nutra drench and H2O. He's wobbly but can walk . Had been crying a lot but settled down after we got a good gulp or two of fluids in him.
Very mild cross bite but I think it's from having his face glued to his wing. No other deformities noted so far other than toe count. He only has four toes.

So both of my AC are pullets!!!!! :yiipchick. However......I will have no eggs to incubate because I have no cockerel. :/ I'm trying to figure that out now so I can rectify that situation.

Maybe in the fall when people are culling for the winter you can have one shipped to you?

Glad they are doing well!
