my egg sales have dropped, so i have a few dozen (8) in fridge. up till 3 days ago i was getting an average of 15 a day now i am only getting 9 a day. compared to a grocery store would you consider the eggs fresh? I have an order of 2 dozen for friday and i don't know if i should use the eggs in rotation or give fresher ones. my biggest point in getting sales was "FRESH". think the novelty has dropped off.

I don't know how long it takes for the commercial producers to get eggs to market. I'd think not long as they want to change those eggs into cash as soon as possible. It's the business principle of "time value of money".

Fresh is another of those terms that implies something but I don't know that it has a clear definition. I think anything you come up with is an arbitrary time. You've marketed the eggs as fresh. If you were buying them, what would you consider fresh? Be true to yourself.

Not much help, I know.
