Friendliest Chicken Breed

I have a few different breeds and honestly they are all pretty friendly. I don't think its the breed so much... I think it just depends on the personality. And how much time you spend handling them. I have a couple Silkies, Cochins, Faverolles, and Polish that are very friendly. Our friendliest is a Polish Rooster. He follows us around the yard and hangs out on the porch with us.

I've got a little of everything including RIR, NHR, BR, BO, RSL, EE, leghorn, cochin, Delaware, Welsummer, various bantam, Silkie, Spitz, polish, hamburgs, marans, penes, kraenkoppe (sp?), Golden Lakenvelder, light Brahma, wyandottes, and more. I think the friendliest are the RIW-Rhode Island White roo and hens. That is with having so many and not getting a lot of individual attention to any of them; but the RIW's come right up and want the attention, jump up on me to hang out while I'm feeding or working on something in the pen.

Barred Rock's. I have 4 Buff Orpington hens, 2 Barred Rock hens and 1 standard Cochin Roo. The roo is so tame you can walk right up to him and he doesn't try to move away from you. My barred rock girls ( Oprah and flutter) come running when I come outside just to say hello. Day before yesterday I drove up and opened the car door then started reading the mail and flutter jumped up in the car and sat on my lap. I love them so much that if I had it to do over again I would have only BR hens and the cochin roo. I have 2 of the 4 BO not laying right now because they are broody. They are constantly broody. I love them but they are a pain. I worry they don't eat enough when broody and they won't freerange ect.

I have 2 NHR,1 Wellie, and 1BO all 15 week old pullets. If i set up my lawn chair in their pen my light red new hampshire will jump into my lap. the darker one wont try to run from me when i am standing up but she does not really like to be picked up. the wellie will run from me but she will not cut up when I catch her. The buff will run and skwawk when I pick her up. They all run up to me when I first go into their pen to feed them. And if I stand still they all peck at my feet and legs. I guess its theiy way of saying hello catfish now give us some popcorn and clover!
