When the kids first started school, we used to be sick ALL the time; they brought everything home. Now that they've been in school for a while, they still get colds, but I rarely get sick anymore.

Thanks to all who wished my husband well and all the sweet comments

My husband was on the detail to retrieve the truck that the soldiers were in.
He hasn't said much about it other than the driver "is going to be *messed up* for the rest of his life".
He tries to spare me the details so I won't worry.
I don't want the details anyways... cause it DOES make me worry.

Maybe we'll be lucky and this will be the only incident his unit will have while they are deployed.

BUT
We've got a long road ahead of us till they come home in December!

My god son is Brock Lee Long... seriously Melissa named her kid "broccoli" because it was funny. After Brock from the Venture Bros.... Moral of the story, i need friends with better taste.

My other godson is "vladimir nikkoli"

And Boyd wants to call his kid "quatro"

I stay as busy as I can too, that seems to make the time pass quicker...
I am taking some college courses, working part time as a substitute teacher, keeping track of my 2 kids, 60 or so chickens-turkeys-dogs-cats-fish-etc., trying to fix up the house we bought about a year ago and there's always my BYC & other web related addictions

Think I am busy enough?

I feel your pain. I'm a full time student, Monday-Friday, working the night shift Friday and Saturday nights, and sharing in the care of a mother with chronic health problems. Oh yea, and then there's the animals

Like the bumper sticker says, BYC is CHEEP therapy!
