My speckled Sussex is experiencing her first winter, She in the only one with pale feet. Her feet today are purple, I am very concern about this. Its 19 degrees and frigid wind. She and the others are mainly staying in the coop with a lot of bedding. I do have the coop door open so that they can go in the run. Anyone experienced this?

Make sure that your chickens feet don't get wet, or that they don't sleep on anything metal. Frost bite occurs easily with freezing temperatures. Here are a couple of threads about frostbite in chicken's feet with pictures:

I'll try to get pictures tomorrow. She just kept lift one foot at a time. I added a lot of shavings and closed off there coop early since no one wanted to venture out. It did look like poor circulation is happening to her feet.
