I was brought a pair of roosters, because they were "crazy." Both are frizzled, so the crazy part does not surprise me. In my experience, male frizzles are always. Battier than other birds. I was told, by the owner, that they were "just frizzles. Frizzle is a breed unto itself."
Perhaps this is true, but, if so, I had not heard of that breed. I had only heard of Frizzled-Cochin, or Frizzled-Polish, etc.
I believe the red rooster to be Frizzled-Cochin. (Banty). But the silver rooster, and the red hen that arrived two days later.... What are they??? Frizzled Banty Showgirl, was my first guess. But she does not have the little hat of feathers like a showgirl.
Input, insights and info on all three will be most welcomed!
Thank you!
