From silkie mix to new breed?

I am really glad that one of her chicks is going strong. Did you post a picture of the one that is struggling? I really hope it gets straightened out, it would be nice if it turned out to look just like Oakley.

Alright, alright here is the little chick. Still very wobbly, keeps looking up in the air, has trouble standing and walking in a straight line. It likes to kind of sit on it's butt. I've never seen it eat, so today I decided to mix some boiled egg with chick feed and water and give it to the chick. Still won't eat or drink on its own though. Even if it does survive it definitely won't be used as a breeder.

I found the little chick dead this morning. It's sad, but there was definitely something wrong with it. At least now we know that Oakley and Cloud (the rooster) can produce chicks that would look very similar to Oakley. Hopefully next time we'll get to see more of her chicks hatch. Their hatch day is 25th and 26th.
Here's one last photo I took of this chick a couple days ago.

I think I might have another Oakley chick. I thought I gave my broody silkie only silkie eggs, but one came out looking like it might actually be from Oakley. The legs are also a bit lighter than the other silkie chicks. And this one also stands out because the rest are blue and this one is all striped. I don't have any better photos because I didn't want to stress out the mother too much.

This one is definitely Oakley's. Another white chick might not be a silkie either because the legs are very light. I haven't checked if it's feathers are silked or not.
Hopefully the dark, stiped chick will be a cockerel. So far it's the biggest.

Ollie has a pretty interesting pattern on his feathers. It's like very faint red stripes on each feather. The camera has a hard time picking it up.

Oakley's other chicks will hatch in 6 days.
