Are frozen eggs ok to eat? Even though we check for eggs several times a day sometimes they freeze especially when the temps outside go below zero. They like to lay their eggs on top of the straw bales that are on the outside wall which are on the opposite side of the barn from their roosts and heat lamp. Many times were are lucky because they all like to use the same nest and somtimes there is a hen sitting on them.
 
Yes, they are fine to eat. Just thaw them slowly and check for cracks in the shell.
