I went out to the turkey coop this morning and found one of our hens laying injured in the snow. She’s been going through molt and we had a big snowstorm last night, first of the season. She has some bites and scratches on her. Mild to moderate degree of blood on the snow. She’s been inside warming up for a couple hours now but still pretty puny. Not moving very much at all.

I'm thinking the other turkeys must have picked on her. I could potentially move her to the sheep pen, which is close to the turkey coop, until she recovers? I will be away from home the next few days. My elderly mother is feeding sheep and the weather will be very cold (Lows down to 4 degrees!). I wonder if Ms. Turkey would be happy in the house (and if my mother will have any peace with her in the house) in a kennel for the weekend?
