I had a very cool experience with my rooster last evening. I went out to water and as soon as he heard the door Angus came to see me. He did his little chook call and acted like he was pecking the ground. When that happens I'll give him treats to give to the girls. It went as expected and I went to water. Soon after he came out of their yard and stood there on the patio; when I looked at him he did the call and peck again. I went to grab some food from their feeder to toss out and it was pretty much empty. He was telling me they were hungry and he knew I'd know what the call and peck would mean. Smart bird that one.

So, you have forgiven him for all of that crowing you talked about the other day? Maybe he was trying to tell you something, and you just didn't understand what it was.

I have forgiven him. He was just annoying at the time, but really is a good roo to be honest.

@N F C I made chili cheese dog taquitos tonight. I got some natural skin hotdogs from the butcher today.

I love having a chalkboard to write my grocery list on. Just snap a pic and go.

Brilliant idea on the chili cheese dog taquitos! I never seem to have hot dog buns when we need them, hadn't thought about using tortillas like that.

I got the day off from animal sitting today. I have to start back up tomorrow though. He's going to show me what they are putting inside of that new border wall today, as he brought a sample back with him. The wall is supposed to be 30-feet high.

Did you hear what Trump did with his executive orders? At least he's doing something to try to help while congress sits around with their heads up their butts. It made congress look like the loafing buffoons they are.

DH is a news junkie and I get so tired of hearing all the crud that goes on.
