Went out to check feed and water on my break. The two Nn girls were foraging in the yard, the weather is still cool and it’s a bit windy. The chicks and Cuckoo were in the coop looking for food, damn pigeons.

I'll take cool and windy any day over those high heat temp's that we were having. The number of doves got cut back with the recent hunting of them.

Glad it's cooling down for you all! You've had some miserable heat! We were in your neck of the woods in January! Depending on the state of Covid, we might be back that way again next January, looking for warmer weather!

So far we've been in the Scottsdale area! My husband is an avid golfer, I used to be and I'm kind of trying to be again...but my game just depresses me...lol! Are you near Scottsdale?

I don't like eating dove. I look at it as being too much work to get such little bit of meat out of them. They only eat those tiny little breast's. I am glad for the hunting season on them though, because I get less of them hanging around my coop then.

Not too far, I used to commute over there when I first started with my previous employer. They moved a couple of times though.
