Whew, been out to dig some holes and move some plants, boy is it warm out there! The oleanders have been planted outside the west wall of the yard. You can see the top of the coop in the fist pic. I'm hoping when they grow up they'll keep the wall cool in the summer afternoon.

The red bird of paradise was transplanted, too close to the blocks, and divided so now there are 2. I moved the ornamental sage from the front yard into this bed and planted some white ruellia too. The junipers didn't make it so I tore those out. The chickens are doing a great job of stirring this bed, I think it's time for more hay.

Put the firebush in the shade garden. It'll shade the heather in Spring and get lots of sun next to the door
