Really? That's what I thought that this one over here by the driveway with the red flower's was supposed to be. I wouldn't miss it if it died, because it has those sticker's all over the branches, and they say that it need's to be pruned to the ground yearly. This one has definitely been neglected for year's.

I went out to clean the coop, fill feeders and waterers and straighten up the yard. Lots of little things that needed to be put away and such. Cuckoo is hanging out in the coop with the babies trying to be a mom. No indication that she even wanted babies, never went broody, but she's content. I locked her in with them for now, damn pigeons keep going in there for food.

Maybe you need to keep her around then if she loves fostering chick's.

It was always my intention to keep her. I really wanted to hatch eggs from her with Angus and then he died from the heat. I cried this year from those deaths. If I have more issues I'm done but Igor said he's going to put A/C in for them. I think that's ridiculous and it will kill us in electricity bills.

I hatched a chick from the FNN hen with Roger over her. The chick is a Nn and has the 5 toes on each foot. I plan on breeding it back into the SGD's when they are old enough. I have 6 SGD pullet's and a SGD cockerel over here now.

Nice! Will you be mixing with the Turkens?
I just have the one girl and she's crazy. I do enjoy her quite a bit though, she makes me laugh.

Yes, I will be able to do some as pure SGD's, and some as NN/SGD mixes.

Yes, and 2 more of his son's. Do you want Roger? I meant 3 more of his son's.
